Eleazar's mother, Olivia Martinez, is being played by Rosanna DeSoto, a well know Mexican actress. I just sort of visualized Eleazar's mom like Ritchie Valens mom, Connie Valenzuela, in La Bamba. Eleazar was kind of the golden boy of the neighborhood just like Ritchie was.
And sticking to my La Bamba theme Bobby is being played by Esai Morales, one of my favorite Hispanic actors
